Sometimes I can’t figure it out
To be, or not to be finished, is the question floating around in my brain today. I don’t know, sometimes I can figure out whether to be finished or not. I think I could needle a painting to death. But ultimately I just have to say…”Done!” So I did, and now that I have I’m pretty happy about it.Of course this conversation in my head is happening because I finished a painting today. Yahoo! Not that I just want to churn them out, but it is nice to come to the completion of a painting. And now on to the next. Which was going to be another draft horse or driving painting, but has been preempted by a portrait. Yahoo, again! This is good. Getting commissions is always a good thing. Also, I do like painting portraits. I will need to keep up my sketching of the heavies, though, so I don’t loose sight of that series of paintings. Well I will give you a sneak peek of the work I just finished, but to see the whole painting
