New Camera

My sister got a new camera (Rebel xsi, 450d) and, if you’ll pardon me for just a moment, I am going to toot her horn. I think she is really doing a fabulous job. She has jumped in with both feet, and the motivation of a maniac, to master this new medium.

Chianti

Two years ago my parents and I took a wonderful trip to Italy. I was remembering Tuscany today. After visiting the art rich city of Firenze we took a few days and traveled into the Tuscan country side to the Chianti region. It was a much needed rest from the “sightseeing” and busy-ness of the city.

Another Perfect Day For A Horse Show

What’s been happening

It’s been busy at work these last few days. I’ve been working on a commission of a mare and foal for my Veterinarian. I’ve also started another couple of paintings. I’m thinking about doing a series of hunter/jumper paintings. I was rather inspired by the grand prix I saw last Sunday. I’m thinking about going up to a dressage show this weekend to take more photos.

Great Day For A Horse Show

I spent the day today at the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show in East Dorset. It could not have been a more beautiful day to be outside, surrounded by incredible beautiful horses and scenery. It was 80*F, puffy white clouds, and a cool breeze. These are the days we live in Vermont for.
