Suzanne Nielsen is an equestrian and an artist living in Chester, VT.

She specializes in equine art and portraiture.

From a very early age the love of horses and art were instilled in Suzanne by her parents. Indeed some of her earliest memories are of these two subjects, beginning with her childhood dream of owning her own pony.

Since then, and many horses later, she has become an accomplished rider and trainer, and a working artist in both the field of animation and fine art.

Suzanne has a degree in fine art from Cal Poly, Pomona and has studied under such masters as Glenn Vilppu and Sheldon Borenstein. She now lives in Chester, VT where her passions for horses and art continue to grow. Most recently she successfully showed her work at the North Star Gallery, in Grafton, VT, at their 2008 Summer Open Juried Exhibition and Sale.
